Incredibly flawed argument against gay marriage

No, you're not simply a Baptist or homophobe, you're a chauvinist too.



Firstly, I can defend my own sexuality thank you very much. I am very unlikely in this day and age to be sold into concubinage. It was also a sign of the status of the woman in society at the time, and she was considered 'unfit' to be married, which caused her to be a prostitute.

Secondly, Lord forbid we might love each other in marriage. It seems your whole argument centres around the idea that marriage is a loveless, passionless, obligatory arrangement. What a horrible way to live. And you are not 'generous' to give yourself wholly into a commitment you quite clearly don't want to be in.

Thirdly, you are quite clearly disillusioned with marriage, having had three (you very devout Catholic you. I wouldn't advertise that for your candidacy of the perfect straight marriage ideal that we as gay people hold so dear.) which quite obviously failed since you had so much feeling for every woman you had wed.

And Mr Schulman? I suggest you get out a little more, and realise the world is no longer the medieval RPG you hold so dear. And stop thinking of your mother that way. It's rather unhealthy.

I hate studying. It's incredibly boring and I get manic. like this...

I've booked for a Le Grande Lesbian Winery Tour in July. Should be great fun. Wine and liquor tastings, cheese and chocolate factory tours and drinking galore! It sounds like another Girlfest! And hopefully I won't drink all the wine before I get back.

My assignments are going very slowly... Blergh. But all will be over soon, and then I have to focus on my other work experience project for CAST-CRC. Hopefully this Tech on Tap thing will take off. $2,000 for the most interesting technology explained in 2.5 mins (the time it takes to pour a Guiness apparently)

Going to see Beyonce when she's in town, Taekwondo grading this weekend, as well as an engagement party. Conference on global warming in August... Uhm..

Work experience for the win! 3 days on the Gold Coast, free registration to the conference, free accommodation, and paying work for those days and the hours of preparation. Wee!

So buggered from stocktake at work. Gah! But the money is great... I've already got my stimulus, which is saved for my trip to Japan with Ena later in the year. Plus extra saving from any extra hours. Two and a half grand so far.

I went shopping today. I got some work clothes to appear professional for this work experience gig, which took me ages. I maintain I am not a size 8... they just had big sizes. I couldn't believe the 12 was so baggy. Anyway...I also bought a porcelain skull and a set of Wolverine-style claws. I love Global Gear...

Working hard to get my next belt rank for Taekwondo. I don't know how I'll go, but I can only try.

*sighs* ok, this bloody woman is very confusing. I got my birth certificate the other day. She hasn't remarried, she just reverted back to her maiden name... after 25 years...? I have no idea why. Gah!

I went out clubbing with Stirlo last night, and met a couple of her mates. It was awesome. Loved going out to dance again. It feels like it's been a while. Release the stress.

Working Monday/Tuesday for stocktake. Money...

Finally got my $900! Woo! Just gotta decide which digital camera to get: FS-2 or an FS-20

Coming up to another Taekwondo grading. I don't know that I'll get another belt, but I can try.

I got a chance to show off my communication skills! YAY! I've got paid work experience over the holidays, so here's hoping. *crosses fingers*

Almost end of semester. Shiiiiit. Got some big assignments coming up. And no motivation to do them. Damn.


And... I may've gotten a little jealous of Ena's sister.... Bloody women. It was good to meet some of Ena's old friends that night though. Faggy friends are the best fun.
