Yeh, well haven't made time for a lot...

Multiple choice quiz tomorrow. Read through sample questions and one lecture's notes. Stil another 7/8 to go.
Haven't finished writing up a prac. Two in fact. Hoping I can do that on the train... or else just leave a couple of pages in my prac book.

As for the past... My party was heaps fun. Maybe because I was heaps drunk (well not that bad, but enough to have no idea who gave me which present. I just smiled at whoever was looking at me as I unwrapped it :-P) And Amanda stayed over so that topped the night off evry nicely :-D

Worked in the lab for the first time yesterday. Working with Haemophilus influenzae, a very charming bug causing pneumonia and meningitis and obviously flu. Basically, I'm helping to find a vaccine; more specifically seeing which proteins on the surface of the cell don't change, so the vaccine will work on all the bacteria, instead of them mutating and becoming resistant to it.

Anyway, I've got to go to my birthday dinner

My only day off usually, and I have a 9am safety induction so I can work with the influenza bacteria in the lab.  Yay for advancing science with my small contribution... but I resent the early start.
Prac Book due Thursday. Have only started the first prac. Another two even more detailed than the first to go...
My birthday party on Saturday. YAY!!! Hopefully it will be great fun. If it isn't I will be sorely disappointed
Day off Sunday so I can rest... and recover... sure let's go with "recover"

Next Wednesday, my family birthday party. Boring conversation like so... hows uni going?
Thursday, a MC quiz for micro prac... argh more study....
Friday, my birthday and I have lectures and then a uni camp for the weekend at Binna Burra. Where the hell is Binna Burra anyway?
Then a nice steady week, which I might spend most of my time in the lab I've opted to work in... *sigh*
And then on the six monthiversary with Amanda, I have to get up insanely early for an 8am exam ON A SATURDAY... motherfuckers.

Have to do some micro practicals.... and hopefully this head-spin will fuck off soon.
