crazy *loading* times over
Well now. I haven't updated this in a while (due to some minor set backs) so I'll give it a go.
Tuesday night Duchesne and all the other colleges got together for a pub crawl at a 'secret location'.
It was so awesome!! The buses were split up into years, and each year had a dress theme. First years were doctors and nurses (and surprise surprise Women's college did the naughty nurse crap *rolls eyes*). I was lazy and wore my lab coat and some white pants (both very dirty by the end of the night). We ended up in The Valley cruising around the GPO, (which was kinda boring because it was just a bar, no dance floor) then to the Fringe Bar, (a really funky bar just a little down the road. It had a DJ and some great music. Stole a Corona poster, now on my wall in my room) then onto the RG (as opposed to a popular college hang-out the RE which is in Toowong. Go figure) which had cheap and very yummy shots (you have got to try a strawberry delight!! Oh-so-good!!) but a crush to get on the door. The bouncer was getting aggro because ppl were being pushed through the door. I managed to get in before it started getting bad, but a couple of my friends were stuck in it. It was like a mosh pit.
By the time we were at the Beat, most were stumbling or weaving their way across the street. A couple of guys harrassed the cars as they passed. All the years (first second third etc) ended up there in the end. Some of the costumes were so cool! Second years were entertainers, third must've been construction workers or something. There were a lot of hard hats and painters uniforms.
Anyways, me and Imogen stole parts of costumes from ppl. Imogen got a stethascope, a corona hat, a pair of sunnies (which she gave to me) and almost got a fireman hat, but the guy was really persistant in getting it back. Tracey stole a pair of Corona thongs and a hat and a ladies toilet sign.
We grabbed some free pizza before we left on the bus back to Duchesne.
